Pit Box Wheel Organizer
1. Base Plate and Wheel Rods
The pit box wheel organizer has a 3D printed base plate and 9 acrylic rods.
2. Insert rods into the bottom of the plate
Insert the rods into the bottom of the plate. One end of each rod is flared so it can't be pulled out from the top. You can add a piece of tape to the bottom to hold the rods in place, if desired.
3. Stack the wheels
The organizer can hold a set of 4 tires and wheels on each rod. The rods are ~4mm. Some wheels may have a tight fit on the rod. You can carefully ream out the wheel hub hole with a drill bit that is slightly over 4mm (I use a #20 drill bit) for a better fit.
4. Fits in Pit Box with room to spare
The wheel organizer fits in the typical pit box with extra room on two sides of the organizer, or more tires, batteries, or other accessories.
