The Bingo products support a wide variety of chassis, but are generally focused on the the Yokomo YD-2 platform, Reve D RDX platform, and the MST RMX platform. The Bingo Wasp MAX chassis supports both the Reve D RDX and the Yokomo YD-2 (or aka RD 1.0 and SD 1.0/2.0) . Many drift car variants are based on the Yokomo YD-2 platform, and those will also work on the Wasp MAX chassis, e.g. Rhino Shark, Reve D MC1. The Bingo Wasp RMX chassis supports the MST RMX 2.0, 2.5 and the M chassis (narrow width).
The Bingo Wasp MAX will support virtually all the YD-2 chassis variants, including the Z, ZX,. SX3, RD1.0, SD 1.0/2.0. The YD-2 variants that don't work are the S, S2, or variants that use a partial upper stay (deck) which doesn't go all the way to the front bulkhead.
For the Yokomo YD-2, you would need the Bingo Wasp MAX chassis, and the YD-2 Battery Adapters. Update: With the latest Wasp MAX chassis (v1.1), you can now use the Universal Battery Holder with the Wasp MAX.
You would continue to use the stock YD-2 upper stay to connect the front bulkhead with the gearbox or rear upper stay support.
Custom YD2 upper stays are available upon request ($25 USD). Contact us for information on having a YD2 stay made that matches the Bingo Wasp MAX chassis.
The Bingo Wasp RMX (v3.1+) will support the MST RMX 2.0/2.5/3.0 KMW/M/EX cars. The Wasp RMX chassis kit includes upper brace extensions that allow you to remove the stock gearbox support and extend the upper brace directly to the gearbox. This supports moving the battery more rearward to change your weight distribution. You can also replace the stock RMX battery holder with the Bingo Universal battery holder, and get rid of those pesky battery gate body pins!
No. The High CG Battery Tray will now work with all Bingo Wasp Chassis, and also the stock Reve D RDX chassis. The High CG Battery kit now has additional 25mm standoffs included which allows the battery tray to be raised above the upper stay on the RMX, YD2 implementations. The High CD Tray will work with the Wasp MAX, Wasp RMX, Yokomo RD2.0, and all the AWB chassis variations.
The latest version of the Bingo Wasp MAX chassis (v1.1) has updated battery holder holes to support the use of the Universal Battery Holder. This means that the large Yokomo plastic battery end pieces are no longer needed, and you can instead use the lightweight Bingo Universal battery tray.
