MST RMX 2.0/2.5 Battery Holder Installation Instructions

Purchase Here

The MST RMX 2.0/2.5 Battery holder replaces the plastic stock battery holder (no more body pins!). It can be installed on the Bingo Wasp RMX chassis as well as the stock RMX chassis. The RMX battery holder will now support both shorty thin (~19mm) and shorty thick (~25mm) batteries. Originally designed for the MST RMX chassis, the Bingo MST RMX battery holder will now fit on any Wasp Chassis (Wasp MAX v1.1+, Wasp RD 2.0, and all Wasp AWB chassis).

1. RMX Battery Holder Parts

The MST RMX 2.0/2.5 Battery holder kit includes:

2 x end plates

2 x lock tab

2 x 9mm spacers

4 x 8mm standoffs

2 x locknuts

2 x M3x18 BHS

4 x M3x6 BHS

4 x M3x6 FHS

* updated, now includes

2 x M3x25 BHS

2 x 15mm spacers

2. Install Lock Tabs

Install lock tabs as shown. Slide the lock tab onto the M3x18 BHS, followed by the 9mm spacer, then the end plate and lock nut. Lightly tighten the lock nut, then back out enough to allow the lock tab to turn with a bit of friction grip.  You can swap out the 9mm spacers and 18mm BHS with the 15mm spacers and 25mm BHS if you want to use thick shorty batteries (<25mm thick)

3. Attach Standoffs

Loosely attach the 4 x 8mm standoffs to the end plates as shown, using the 4 x M3x6 button head screws.

4. Attach End Plates to Chassis

Attach the end plates using the 4 x M3x6 flat head screws.

5. Bottom view

Tighten down the 4  flat head screws.

6. Adjust End Plates

Adjust the end plates to fit your battery. Allow a little bit of room for easier removal of the battery. Tighten down the 4 button head screws.
